PREVIOUS EDITIONS

This event is held every two years and had its first edition in 2011. Its characteristic is multidisciplinarity, the presentation of scientific works related to Oncology, as well as the participation of companies exhibiting innovative products and services for the health area.

In 2011, we reached an audience of 900 participants and in 2013, we reached a total of 1,200 people. The 3rd edition, held in 2015, was particularly remarkable, since, in addition to the participation of 1,000 congressmen, the event also hosted the 1st Radiology Workshop and the 1st Multidisciplinary Congress of Head and Neck Oncology. Another important milestone for Oncology in Amazonas, in this same edition, was the formalization of the Brazilian Society of Oncological Surgery (SBCO), Amazonas chapter.

In 2017, in its 4th edition, the congress had 1,180 participants, 102 scientific papers presented and 153 speakers, distributed in 122 lectures, with very attractive themes.

The 5th edition of the Pan-Amazonian Oncology Congress, 2019, consolidated and reaffirmed the scientific, social and educational impact in the field of Oncology, placing the State of Amazonas in the national and international spotlight. The Congress had a total audience of 1,500 participants, including speakers and congressmen, 165 national and international speakers, and 100 scientific papers presented. In this edition, all scientific papers submitted at the event were published in the Brazilian Journal of Cancerology – RBC 2020.

Furthermore, there was the formalization of the Brazilian Association of Nursing in Oncology and Onco-Hematology – ABRENFOH, Northern Region section, bringing discussions and technical-scientific, social and economic growth in these areas to Amazonian society.

In 2023, the Pan Amazon edition had national coverage, bringing current events in oncology to the 750 participants, who were able to enjoy the 47 speakers, including 3 international speakers. All this in 3 days of the event with 3 simultaneous rooms. 89 scientific papers were presented during the event.
