GENERAL GUIDELINES
-
- The deadline for submission of abstracts starts on 05/26/2025 and ends on 09/14/2025 at 23:59 (Manaus time – GMT-4) ;
- Abstracts must be submitted exclusively through the congress’s online system ( link available below, in the SUBMISSION item);
- Abstracts sent by email, Whatsapp , or other means of document transmission will not be accepted or processed by the event’s Scientific Works Committee;
- Each main author can submit up to 2 papers.
- Each paper can have up to 7 co-authors (total: 8 authors).
- The main author must have paid the registration fee by 10/13/2025 for the work to be validated.
- The content of the abstracts and presentation is the sole responsibility of the authors;
- Authors are prohibited from submitting previously published works or research in the planning phase;
- The following are accepted:
- Original studies
- Integrative or systematic reviews
- Case studies or series
- Experience reports

- The submission of scientific papers (abstracts) represents the definitive commitment of the author(s) to present the paper(s), if accepted, in person;
- The main author must present the Consent Form to the Scientific Works Committee of the event, attaching it when submitting each expanded abstract;
- The 10 (ten) abstracts best evaluated by the ad hoc researchers will be presented in oral communication format, the remaining works must be presented in poster format. Authors will be able to follow all the information regarding the submission through the congress participant area on the congress website.
- In case of non-approval of the submitted work, there will be no refund of the congress registration fee.

- Epidemiology, Prevention and Control of Cancer.
SUBMISSION
Scientific papers must be submitted in expanded abstract format, with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 5 pages;

- Expanded abstracts must follow the format of the templates provided;
- The main author must correctly include the full name(s) of the institution(s) and co-author(s);
- The main author must indicate on the paper submission form the category of the extended abstract and the thematic axis in which the paper best fits.
- The Scientific Works Committee may reassign the expanded summary to another thematic axis that it deems to be most appropriate;
- It is mandatory to present the approval report , in PDF, from the Research Ethics Committee at the time of submission for all research involving human beings (as established by CNS Resolution No. 466/2012, Circular Letter No. 166/2018-CONEP that decides on studies of the “Case Study” type) and other applicable standards or animals (specific legislation), which must be attached in a specific area of the website. For works that used experiments on animals or humans, the Methodology item (experimental part) must contain the number and date of the approval report issued by the respective Ethics Committee ;
- All extended abstracts must be submitted in Portuguese or English*;
* Abstracts in English submitted and accepted at the Congress must be presented in Portuguese;

EVALUATION, PRESENTATION AND AWARD

- Abstracts will be evaluated by ad hoc researchers based on:
- Scientific quality
- Text clarity and correctness

- The evaluated expanded abstracts will be classified as “Approved” or “Rejected” and this result will be made available in the restricted area of the author who submitted the work, until 10/21/2025 .
- The approved and presented expanded abstracts will be included in the Congress Proceedings.
- The 10 (ten) abstracts best evaluated by ad hoc researchers will be submitted for presentation in oral communication format.

- All other works will be classified as posters.
- Important: The creation of the poster (physical banner) is the sole responsibility of the congressperson.

- Both the poster and the oral presentation slides must be brought by the member of the audit team responsible for presenting the work, on the day scheduled for the presentation (accompany the congressperson in the area).
- All works presented will receive the corresponding certificate;
- Awarding of papers presented in poster format: The best paper presented in each category ( integrative review or systematic review , original study, case study or, as well as experience reports) will receive an award. The top three in each category will receive a certificate of Honor;
- Awarding of works presented in the Oral Communication format: the three best works evaluated will receive an award. All works presented in the oral communication format will receive a Certificate of Honor of Merit;
- The prizes are non-transferable and intended for the main author, regardless of the number of authors;
The decisions of the Scientific Works Committee are final.
SCHEDULE FOR PRESENTING SCIENTIFIC WORKS:
Posters must be printed and brought in 90 cm wide x 120 cm high format, on the day and time according to the schedule below:
